March Break at Quest

Each day, join us at Quest to try something new to do with art! One day could be experimenting with different paint mediums, the other could be creating your own mini-magazine! There’s something different every day, to try something new or to practice something you love! It’s sure to be a wonderful week full of creativity and fun!
Monday, 13th March: Painting
Join us to explore different painting mediums and try your hand with lots of hands-on activities. From watercolour, to acrylic, to string art to bubbles, the only limits are your imagination!
Members: $120/week
Non-members: $180/week
Classes are from 10am to 1pm
Ages 8-14
All materials are provided.
Classes are limited to 12 participants so don’t miss out!
Tuesday, 14th March: Drawing
Are you looking to learn more about drawing? Join us for different activities all centred around drawing! We’ll try different mediums, like charcoal and pastels, and different topics, such as portraiture and sketching. It’s a little bit of everything, so even if you’re not sure you can draw – come along and have some fun exploring!
Wednesday, 15th March: Weaving
Led by Joan Sundeen, learn all the in’s and out’s of weaving and create your own unique masterpiece! You’ll be surprised at what you can create with yarn and what seems like a simple craft! Try something new and be amazed!
Thursday, 16th March: Sewing
Would you like to try sewing your own pouch, doll, or bag? Join Susan Dalrymple as she guides you to sew items by hand and on a sewing machine! We will be using the sewing machines at the Midland Public Library and learning essential skills that will not only create something cool but will be very useful!
Friday, 17th March: Collage and Zines
Create your own collage using magazines, newspaper and your own skills! Guided by Chelsea Bellrose, you’ll be able to create a bespoke work of art using the art of collage! Then, you’ll be able to create your own mini-magazine, called a Zine, about whatever you like! Whether it’s your favourite foods or your favourite show – you create a work of art dedicated to whatever you choose. It’s always fun and there’s no limit on how many you can make!
Saturday, 18th March: Sculpture
Want to get messy? Join Kim Jones and create your own sculptures! Working with different mediums and learning essential tips and tricks, you’ll create your own sculpture about whatever you like!
Minimum number of participants is required at least 1 week before for the class to go ahead.
